About Type 2

'Type 2' is changing perceptions about bipolar disorder; it has a mission and a purpose. It takes you deep into the world that so many people are affected by but a world that so few understand. The very strong message that 'Type 2' delivers so honestly is one that needs to be delivered, understood and heard.

'Type 2' is an honest look at bipolar disorder, masterfully written and performed by Jason Gale, who suffers from the illness. The lead character is a bipolar stand-up comic, who decides to go off her meds. Comic genius and award winning dramatic actress Michelle J. Mainwaring will make you laugh and cry as Jasmine, the tragic heroine. Directed by Eleanor Piotrowski.
